THE RESORT

With the dramatic Mount Teide as a backdrop, this low rise self-catering family villa has an intimate feel, yet despite being just a short drive from popular centres, staying here can seem a million miles from all the hustle and bustle.

Built around a fabulous pool complex, Sunningdale Village is a haven for relaxation. Guests can choose to relax around its large curved swimming pool surrounded by palm trees and tropical gardens, or decide to soak up the seemingly endless supply of sunshine on the miles of sandy beaches. Yet when the sun goes down, the resort enjoys an active nightlife and delicious dining scene.

Closer still is the traditional fishing village of Los Abrigos, with its fabulous seafood restaurants lining the quaint harbour. Along the Costa del Silencio toward the towering cliffs of Los Gigantes, you can discover some beautiful beaches to stop off and soak up the sun.

On the doorstep, golfers can enjoy the many challenges of the 27-hole Golf del Sur which is home to the annual P.G.A Tenerife Open Golf Championship.

Food and Drink

The on-site supermarket ensures your can relax, unwind and cook up a feast in the villa but if you want to be wined and dined then you’re going to love the food that the resort has to offer. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are all available at the restaurant Zacary’s.  For nibbles and snacking in between meals, the pool side bar offers a wide variety of sandwiches and refreshing drinks.  Unwind in the evening and enjoy the fresh menu filled with vibrant, flavourful dishes, including authentic Spanish food.

Being a family friendly destination, Golf del Sur has plenty of restaurants and bars dotted around. Local and international cuisine is served in a variety of restaurants that line a beautiful promenade connecting Golf del Sur to the smaller neighbourhood of San Blas.
